Was thinking about this today and thought there are many players in the premier league who never get the credit they deserve. Who do you all think puts in good, consistent performances and don't tend to get much recognition? IMO the following do an important role but are hardly ever recognised for their efforts:

Niko Kranjcar - Brilliant season and can contribute a lot from midfield
Joe Cole - Does a lot for Chelski nd is over shadowed by bigger names and bigger players, Lumpard.
Mikel Arteta - Injured now i think but when he is fit he is a main reason why everton are so high in the table
Hayden Mullins - All of us know how solid he can be when called upon but he is piss poor when attacking.
Alexander Hleb - It pains me to say this but he is a good dribbler and can hold the ball up very well

Do add all your views and who you believe are underrated in the league and hopefully we can compose a shortlist and do a poll

Anti Niemmi - I'm surprised he isn't in a bigger club
Joe Cole - Technically the best English player at the moment
Phil Jagielka - Great team player. Victim of Moyes' defence rotation policy.
Carlos Tevez - He needs to play more in the first eleven in order to prove his worth or he will be remembered as an average player (like Saha)

Good point about Neimi. I think he is quite a soid 'keeper and if Fulham go down i hope we get him as backup to Green and sell Wright.
