West Ham have sounded Palermo out about their £4million-rated midfielder Mark Bresciano, according to reports.
The Australia international had agreed a four-year deal with Premier League rivals Manchester City last summer but his switch from Italy never materialised because of a dispute over when the transfer fee would be paid.

Now, Hammers manager Alan Curblishley, who is keen to reinforce his squad to avoid the injuries that have cost his side this season, is ready to make his move.
The Serie A outfit have already indicated they will not stand in Bresciano's way and the versatile midfielder could be one of many new arrivals at Upton Park over the summer.
