WEST Ham are ready to go head-to-head with rivals Tottenham for Norwegian striker Tarik Elyounoussi.

The talented 20-year-old has been the subject of much interest from the north Londoners, who sent scouts to watch the youngster play for his club, Fredrikstad, on Sunday.

However, they have been told by the Norwegian outfit to cough up £4 million to secure his services.

Now the Irons are said to be considering a move of their own for the Moroccan-born starlet, who is rumoured to have turned down an offer from Chelsea to train with them last season.

Portsmouth are also keeping tabs on the situation.

4 milion for a 20 year old! This is more then what we usually get linked with. He must be really good!
