West Ham teenager James Tomkins is determined to remain part of manager Alan Curbishley's first-team plans in the new Premier League season.
The 19-year-old made his debut in the 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park in March and went on to feature another five times.
Tomkins told the club's official website: "There is so much to look forward to. I am going to go all out pre-season. I am going to keep working hard and just try to improve.
"I am still on a buzz from last season. I keep looking back at playing for the first team and still can't really believe it. It was brilliant to play a few games and the highlight for me was at Old Trafford.
"I have played a few games and it is still a buzz for me. That kept me going."

| Well he might have trouble starting much next season if the injuries we had last season stay away but I hope we still see a bit of him. |
