West Ham are considering a move for young Croatian star Josip Tadic.
The 20-year-old striker produced some outstanding displays for Dinamo Zagreb last season, catching the eye of Hammers scouts.
Tadic said: 'It would be nice to play for the club where Croatian legends Slaven Bilic and Igor Stimac once played.
'I am very surprised - in a positive way, of course.'
Tadic is an Under-21 international who was not included in Bilic's squad for Euro 2008, where Croatia reached the quarter-finals.
His contract with Dinamo runs out in the summer of 2011.

Good young player by the look at it and some nice quotes. |
