Upton Park cult hero Julian Dicks will be making a personal appearance at West Ham United's club store at the Lakeside Shopping Centre in West Thurrock next Thursday, October 26.
The former Hammers left-back is heading over from his home in Spain to coincide with the launch of a new DVD, titled: Julian Dicks: Terminator, reflecting on his eventful career in the claret and blue.
Now 38, Julian will be signing copies of the DVD and posing for photographs from 5-7pm at the store.
Supporters are advised that, should the event prove to be as popular as expected, security officials may be forced to cap the queue before 7.00pm to ensure that everybody in line gets to meet Julian before he leaves. We would therefore advise supporters to arrive at Lakeside as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
The new DVD profiles most of Julian's memorable moments in a Hammers' shirt, many previously unseen for nearly 20 years. Interviewed at his new home in Spain, we also catch a glimpse of Dicks's golf talents and answer many of the questions raised over his controversial career.
Julian Dicks: Terminator will be available on DVD from whufc.com from October 29, 2006 and all good retailers from November 6. RRP: £15.99
I'm looking forward to getting this, have any of you read his biography, Terminator? It's a great read and I'd recomend it! I went to Julians pub that he was running a few years back just outside Colchester. He came round from behind the bar and sat chatting to me over a couple of pints for about an hour, top bloke! :D |
