I got this message on the WestHamFirm myspace so I'm reposting it here in the hope that some of you might be able to help.

Hi there
just wanted to drop you a line regarding the bike ride to all 20 Premiership Clubs I am doing in memory of Bobby Moore.
The bike ride starts in 2 weeks time from Newcastle United and all the preparations have been made so all I need now is for the weather to get a bit better.
The one disappointment I have is that only 1 of the 20 Premiership Clubs is not willing to support me and unfortunately it is our own. They're not budging at the moment stating still that they already do a lot of work for the charity and have already supported plenty of cyclists this year.
As we are getting close to my start date, and to help me get as close to my target of £10,000 as possible, would it be possible for you to post something up to try and encourage the fans to donate. If the club isn't going to support me I want to show them that at least the fans will.
Bobby's widow is supporting me with my efforts and has said the following "We're really delighted that Jamie is supporting the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK by undertaking this incredible cycling challenge. Jamie's support will help us to save lives and I am so grateful to him for all his fundraising efforts. We wish him the best of luck!"
There is a little incentive for people to donate. Those who donate/sponsor under £20 will be put in a draw for the chance to win a sky sports goodie bag (contains DVD "Escape to Victory", england t-shirt and some England goodies kindly supplied by the FA.
Those donating/sponsoring £20 or more will be put in a draw for the chance to win a signed England Shirt and other Bobby Moore and england memoribilia kindly supplied by Cancer Research UK and the FA.
Winners will be announced at the back end of April. I will also be holding an auction in April/May for the other memoribilia collected including a framed West Ham Shirt signed by Ian Wright.
As usual people can donate securely online at www.justgiving.com/jwpenfold. All donations go directly to the charity.
I really appreciate your potential support with this
Many thanks
Jamie |

I think this bloke deserves to raise the money. Great cause.
It disgusts me that our club is the only premiership club not getting involved especially when it is the Bobby Moore Fund. I am fucking ashamed and embarrassed.
Would encourage all on here to donate something. |

Just recieved this myspace bulletin from him. I'd like to congratulate him on completing this bike ride! :D
Hey all
Well, I finally finished the charity bike ride to all 20 Premiership Clubs on Saturday. In total I covered about 750miles. I'm now safely back up in Newcastle resting up.
For those in London, apologies. I couldn't get a connection where I was staying in Walthemstow so I couldn't get in contact.
Those West Ham supporters amongst you will be pleased to know that I got a superb reception at Upton Park. Keith, the chef who two weeks earlier undertook a similar journey, met me at the ground and took me on a tour of the old place. The welcome completely blew me away.
Anyway, I'm going to be updating the blogs tonight and uploading photos to the challenge website at www.premiershipchallenge.blogspot.com. I also have some good pics of me at Stamford Bridge that are a bit sensitive from the charity point of view but will be going on here later on.
Thanks for all the support. I will be accepting donations up to the end of April, so if you haven't visited the fundraising pages and would like to donate and see if we can't at least get to the £5000 mark, please feel free to visit the fundraising page at www.justgiving.com/jwpenfold
I will post up the list of what will be auctioned on e-bay later in the week
Speak soon
