Assuming we stay up i think the captains armband needs to go to someone else. We need a better leader and NRC (if he stays) will be a better player without the burden of captaincy.
Lucas Neill and Luis Boa Morte have both had experience of captaincy with Neill captaining his country. Or should we look for a West Ham lad like Zamora or Noble?
I think Neill would be a good shout, he's one of our most experienced players and some of that Aussie sporting attitude wouldn't go a miss. |

Lucas Neill hands down, his all but our captain now, i really have the feeling NRC may be suling behind scenes, because i just find it weird that Neil is doing all the PR be it speaking to the media before the match, always saying stuff on the o/s. He seems to be teh man doing all the talking after the match too!
He is vocal, a natural leader, experienced and never shy to offer encourement exactly what we need as a captain! 8) |

Of course it has to be Neill.
Is it bad manners of me to be nationistic (for Australia) on St. Georges Day?
Sorry!  |
