So what's a Chelsea fan doing on a West Ham fans forum ?
Well it may sound strange but for years my dad and I always admired the attractive style of football West ham played during the 70's and 80's with quality players such as , Clyde Best , Bobby [ legend ] Moore, Geoff Hurst , Mervyn Day , Alan Devonshire , Pop Robson etc etc and my dad became a secret Hammers fan . Then while i was browsing through the footie section in Virgin megastore i came across a DVD entitled 100 greatest West ham goals courtesy of ''The Big Match '' For those too young , The Big match was the ITV rival show to MOTD . anyway , i thought ,'' i'll have that ''and believe me , i wasnt disappointed . Its a must for all Hammers fans with great footage , original post match interviews and some stunning goals. Pop Robson i dont think ever got an England cap , ok i may be wrong but if he was playing today , he'd be my first choice . Lethal in front of goal .
Anyway , it was a joy re living the memories and seeing those players again along with Brian Moores commentry .
